ABOUT US
The Teen Center offers a variety of after school program activities designed for teens and "tweens", ages 11 to 18. Our purpose is to provide behavior guidance and promote the health, social, educational, and character development of boys and girls We are dedicated to providing a safe and supervised tobacco, alcohol, and drug-free gathering place for Nowata County and surrounding area youth.

Money Matters
A financial literacy class for teens, helping them to make sound financial decisions as adults.
Career Launch
A career and interest exploration class including guest speakers, field trips and more!
Torch Club
a leadership and service program designed for youth ages 11–13. Through hands-on activities, youth develop leadership skills, build character, and learn the value of giving back to their community. Torch Club members work together to plan service projects, participate in decision-making, and take on leadership roles—empowering them to use their voice, strengthen teamwork, and prepare for future leadership opportunities like Keystone Club.
Keystone Leadership
the BGCA’s premier teen leadership program. Designed for youth ages 14–18, Keystone provides dynamic opportunities for leadership development, community service, academic success and career preparation. With guidance from an adult advisor, Keystone members plan and lead club activities, engage in service projects and build real-world skills. The program also offers chances to connect with peers through regional and national Keystone events that enhance leadership and collaboration skills.
Districts
A youth-designed character and leadership initiative developed by Keystone Club members. The program empowers teens by amplifying youth voice, strengthening peer relationships, and introducing participants to the structure and function of local government in a hands-on, age-appropriate way.
